Review highlights

Based on 932 reviews

Sa Rit Gol is widely recognized for its authentic Korean cuisine, offering a variety of flavorful dishes that appeal to both locals and visitors in Fort Lee. Customers frequently praise the generous portions and freshness of ingredients, particularly in seafood and hearty soups like gamjatang and spicy pork rib soup. The restaurant is noted for delivering traditional flavors with a balance of spice and richness, while maintaining good value. Vegetarian options are limited but thoughtfully adapted to ensure inclusivity. Some reviews mention a mild MSG presence, though this does not significantly impact overall satisfaction. The ambiance is casual, and the establishment is popular throughout the day, reflecting its strong local reputation.

Went with some friends and was the only vegetarian- they have one dish (the bibimbap) that they can make without meat! The gochujang sauce might’ve had fish extract or I forget what that isn’t vegetarian in it, so they gave me soy sauce and sesame oil as substitutes to give the bibimbap some added flavor. It was really good!! Always thankful to places that offer a solid veggie option for vegetarians, and this bibimbap was it. Also they serve complimentary barley tea, which is always a plus in my book.

Fantastic authentic Korean food and also very popular in the fort lee area as tables are almost never empty throughout the day as far as I know. This differs from kbbq places as they serve more advanced level korean food for patrons. There is no grill on the table so keep that in mind. We have been here on multiple occasions and have tried many menu items with flavors that are out of this world. This is the kinda of business that will be handed down for generations if they own the spot instead of renting the space. Long live the king of all korean restaurants in the tri state area!

Really yummy and amazing for the value and quantity. Loved how crispy and juicy the mackerel was, definitely fresh! The gamjatang was hearty, where the meat fell off the bone, quite spicy though. Sul lang tang was even more incredible, where the broth was rich but not heavy, where I loved how much variety of the meat they put, even adding the beef collagen which was chewy and flavorful. Oh and the abundance and variety of kimchi being served is so appreciated, balancing everything together. In terms of the service, they were super sweet, giving us recommendations and making us feeling welcomed among the locals there!

I came to Fort Lee and had myself a day. I visited this place for lunch and it was delicious. I got the Spicy Pork Rib Soup and it was flavorful and so filling. It came with three sides and a bowl of rice. The kimchi sides were all so refreshing.

It’s been so long since pandemic. Fort Lee has been changed a lot, i mean good changes. Streets are quite clean and nicer. This restaurant is good for price and food quality. Our family were really satisfied. Although there was MSG taste a little , overall taste was good and great amount of meat inside!!

Here’s a natural, friendly English introduction you can use: ⸻ This place is a very typical Korean restaurant—nothing fancy, just genuinely good food. The highlight here is the sundae-guk (Korean blood sausage soup), known for its authentic flavor and rich, deeply satisfying broth. If you’re looking for true Korean taste rather than stylish interiors or a trendy atmosphere, this is the perfect spot.

Dakbokkeumtang was amazing! Spicy, bold, and perfect for blowing away stress. The rich broth with potatoes was Gamjatang was a bit disappointing not much meat and the broth wasn’t as clean as I like. Next time, I’m definitely trying their popular grilled mackerel!

Authentic Korean restaurant. Wish it near me. Their side dish-3 kinds of kimch were so good as much as other main menu. No wonder why this place is mentioned for recommendation always.
